Sometimes you have to get creative as a parent to get results. One night, you were in a disrespectful mode and complained all through dinner—about every little detail. Never mind it was one of your favorite meals all made from scratch. After you were corrected several times, my last straw was your complaints about the homemade strawberry dessert I had made. So your Dad talked with you and informed you that you would not be having dessert the next night. So…to drive the point home, I made your favorite dessert – strawberry shortcake with lots of whipped cream. Owen and Ben used TWO cans of whipped cream as you sat and regretted the bad attitude you had the night before. I hope you learned your lesson kiddo, to give thanks in everything – even Momma’s cooking!
