journeling: Your first Thanksgiving I decided to
sit you up next to the turkey. I knew you would be smaller than the 20 pound bird, but I still had to see it with my own eyes. Grandma Genie thought it was so very funny. You just kind of looked at us like we were absurd. And of course we kind of were. I’m sure its something you will get used to. I also couldn’t help but think that last year at Thanksgiving we had just found out we were pregnant with you.We didn’t want to share our news yet. I remember thinking about our little
