When I grow up, I want to be...
Well, I did become what I wanted to be, and after 16+ years of teaching, I was burned out and ready for a break. That came in the form of a marriage, a move, and a baby...now there are days when I wish I was working again, but those moments are fleeting. I want to be the room mom who volunteers and helps out at her kids' school. My mom did that, and I loved having parents help out when I was teaching.
