Standing by the ocean's shores And marveling at the sight
Watching how the breakers roar Come crashing with the tide
Diamonds sparkling on the crest A glistening silver swell
As sunlight touches ocean's face Caressing it as well
The surge is rising with the day And with it ocean's song
Creating its own symphony The sea moves on and on
The spray it paints a glorious view Of water bound to fly
Piling up and dipping down Like seagulls in the sky
At times it does yet tenderly Billow with the flow
The ocean just so marvelously Knows always where to go
And standing here at ocean's side I watch the grand display
In the sea of destiny I find myself this day
