My Summer Fling was my 26hr train journey (and the same on the return) to NYC from Tampa.
People said I was crazy, but I LOVED it, it was awesome. The teeny tiny little sleeper roomette was great. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining car. I watched tv on my laptop and worked a full day from the train.
I doubt I will do this particular journey again and I am so glad I got to do it.
