The Covid 19 Pandemic was taking hold so our Government decided to close the schools and set up online learning. Home schooling was our new normal even if for a few weeks.
I was so worried that Id let Tige down, home schooling was a brave new world for us. But you know what we took to it like ducks to water. After a day or two working out the system we found our groove and had so much fun. It was such a great opportunity to spend time with Tige and really get to know what his schooling is like.
On return back to regular school, Tige received 3 awards for English, Science and Mathematics and 2 for leadership and creativity. He really shone during this period. He flourished in writing, enjoyed the Art program and even read 2 Harry Potter books. I am so proud of him and how hard he worked for his mumma, I will be honest I am even a little proud that I managed to get him through what could have been a big mess. We did it together and came out the other side unscathed and even had fun doing it!
