Alex LOVES planting things! Her Mom, um, that would be me, is not so great in the digging in the garden department! The kids planted sunflower seeds in styrofoam cups at a kids’ event, not the best chances to begin with and then the wind knocked the cups over on the front porch and she was heartbroken. But, they had been there about two weeks with no sprout to be seen, so I told them we’d get new seeds and plant them in the ground. Then, leave it to her, she found this miniscule sprout on one of the seeds that had spilled from the cup, I was stunned! So, of course, she replanted it in the backyard. This is documentation of Alex proudly saving her sunflower plant!
