Journaling: On the first warmish day after what seemed like endless weeks of bitter cold, Skylar and Daddy headed outside to build a snowman. Skylar made most of the decisions while Daddy provided the labor, as well as a variety of accents to give their new friend some personality. Most of Daddy’s suggestions were met with approval ...except for the ball cap he placed backwards on the snowman’s head. Apparently this particular snow buddy was a GIRL and to Skylar, that meant she needed hair, not a boy’s hat. A few branches off the bushes were enough to satisfy our young snow artist.
