San Agustin Church

More sights from our walking tour during Independence Day.

Journaling reads:

The San Agustin Church is one of the oldest churches in the country. It was the only building left intact after Intramuros was destroyed in the Battle of Manila in 1945. The ceilings are all trompe-l’oeil murals, a French style which tricks the eye into thinking that the designs are real instead of painted.
