Journalling: "my auntie marlene was the kindest woman i know. she used to come visit all the way from hobart and would always bring my magazines from her newsagency. she gave me a pair of funky red pants one christmas, they were probably the fanciest piece of clothing i’d owned at the time. she was always dressed super stylish and never raised her voice. she died of lung cancer when i was just a kid and i have never put a cigarette in my mouth because of it. i want to be remembered just the way i remember her; someone who i always looked forward to seeing. i want to be the nicest person i know. it starts now."
