Here is my journaling:
When I was little I loved the Little House on the Prairie books and T.V.
series. I starte with the books in first grade and they just grabbed my
attention. I really related to Laura an loved her and Pa’s relationship. I think I wished i had a Pa to do things with. I remember wearing dresses and pretending
to be Laura and acting out the book. When I discovered the T.V. show I was hooked. I never wanted to miss one. I remember shedding more than one tear for the Ingalls family. In 5th and 6th grade their was a group of girls at school who started a Little House club. We read the books, did crafts and played Little House every recess. remember that we all had a different favorite character we would play. I of course was Laura. I really do think that the little house books started my love for history that continues today. Not to mention my continuing love for LittleHouse. I just this month got season one of the T.V. series for my 36th birthday!
