My grandpa's Minolta is one of my most precious cameras, despite the fact that it is built solidly. This camera has seen so many vacations (in which I have seen so many slides), documented my family's history, and was the camera I learned to shoot with. And now, it's the camera I keep in arm's reach in case I see something special worth freezing time on. It has survived many an afternoon of puddle jumping in my household. I even have plans to bring a roll of slide film on my son's first trip to Disney to recreate some favorite family photos.
