Here at Delta airlines we have been short staffed for months now; we have to pick up open shifts to make up for the lack of staff to cover flights. Some of us have been working 50+ weeks; leaving us all on the edge and very tired. With long shifts and delays. We are often working 13 hour days! Coming in at 5 am and not leaving till nearly 7 pm! Many of us feel as if we spend more time at the airport than at home with our families! We have bonded a great deal and while we love each other to death, we feel as if we do not escape and get a break soon we will explode! We are all exhausted and need a break! Need a trip away! Thank gosh we finally hired some new hires and they will be trained shortly so that we can all get a well needed rest! And a Day off! And hopefully these bags under our eyes will disappear!
