Your journaling is fantastic Lynn! I relate - my first baby off to school was so difficult too. He's thriving and I can now feel the pat on my back that I did my job. My youngest left last year. She still calls/texts multiple times per day, but my "job" is over. I'm proud of them. I promise that it does get easier, and that there will be a time that she comes back to visit and after a bit, part of you will look forward to life going back to normal (the new normal of her not being there - with less clutter and laundry LOL). Don't get me wrong I love the visits and my kiddos!
