With yesterday being Remembrance Day , I am thankful for those who fought for us to have the freedom we have. My grandmother was a nurse during WWI, my grandfather a member of the RAF and during WWII a chaplain. My parents both remember the air raid sirens going off and mom said she remembers walking down the street to the bomb shelter with her granny while her parents were at work helping the war effort.
