I started feeling yucky on Sunday and by Monday I was having difficulty breathing. Mama’s hospice nurse listened to my chest and told me to go home and get a doctor’s appointment. I called Teladoc and was instructed to take a COVID-19 test, and it was positive. I was prescribed a huge list of medications. I ended up going to Mama’s on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, I went to Mama’s in the AM, and her breathing had changed. I still felt awful, but I was so glad I was there as Mama took her last breaths about 45 minutes after I got there. What a horrible time to get sick! March 18, 2024
