Around the 4th month of my pregnancy I got a call from my doctor to tell me I needed further testing because of abnormal results from a routine blood test. I was scared of course but I made the appointment and nervously waited for that day to
come. I got there somewhat early for my appointment so I decided to go walk
and sat by the lake waiting until it was time to go up and have my testing done. A lady came over and sat down and asked me if everything was ok. I told her all of it. It felt nice to tell someone who was not personally attached and she seemed like a very nice older lady. Well it turned out that she ran an agency that helped people adopt children with the illnesses they said my baby could possibly have and talked to me about it a bit. She answered questions and reassured me quite a bit. It reaffirmed my faith that even if there was a birth defect or something wrong with my baby I already loved him and it didnt matter to me. I never did get that ladies name. She gave me a card and told me to call but I never did. I have no doubt though she was put there that day to help with the worry I was carrying in my heart and to ease the questions I felt.
