Journaling reads: Finding a lump is the last thing a girl wants, but there it was. I’m so thankful that Michael and I share a fond appreciation of my boobs and give them lots of attention because it was definitely a relief to know exactly when that menacing lump decided to crash the party. And since it seemed to come out of nowhere, I wasn’t too concerned about the C word, but I scheduled a doctor’s visit to be safe. She said it certainly didn’t seem like cancer, but we set up a mammogram. Not surprisingly, the lump disappeared a couple of days before the screening, and the mammogram confirmed that I didn’t have anything to worry about. Freakout averted.
