Journalling: "I don’t even know where ‘Bubbles’ came from. All I know is that he is mine and I’m his ‘Boobee’. Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am to have him. He is definitely the more grounded one; I’m a dreamer and he’s a realist. We don’t have a lot of things in common - we like different movies, we like different music, I was a dog person, and he a crazy cat man, but I think that’s why we work. I mean, even in these photos- we’re in the middle of a mosh pit at Big Day Out, which is totally not David’s scene, and the next day we took off on a boat for Rottnest so he could spend half a week fishing. We’re all about the compromise."
