Journaling: I hadn’t expected motherhood to be so hard. I thought it would be a lot like baby sitting...lots of playing, laughing, making precious memories, and it *is* all of those things...it’s just that there’s a lot more to it than just hanging out and having fun.
Motherhood is a lot of work. Hard work. It requires 100% of me 100% of the time.There are no off days, no vacations from motherhood. When I slack off, you suffer. When I’m lazy, I teach you to be lazy too. It feels like everything I do, even the little things, effects you.
And I do it all sleep-deprived. Trying to be the best mom that you deserve, even when I don’t feel like working at it, it’s hard! And I fail. A LOT. But I keep trying because you re the most precious things in my life. You’re worth it. Giving my all to you is worth any sacrifice I make.
