Use of color as the design element.
My soul is periwinkle ...
(I am absolutely and totally
sucked in by the color blue.
Be it the clothes I wear,
the rooms I live in,
the car I drive,
if it’s blue I am calmed.
The sky in summer
takes on a certain blue
that has a depth to it
that seems to go on forever.
In some places the ocean
is yet another perfect shade of blue.
If I unexpectedly encounter something blue,
I can’t help but seek it out. I am hooked on blue.)
But my spirit’s tangerine.
