Martha is THE princess. She is one in the truest sense of the word. She MUST have everyone at her beck and call or else an impending catastrophe known as the Martha Tantrum will occur. It can make grown-ups cry like her Mommy and cause people stop and wonder who would be able to tame her. Certainly not the Mommy who is the maid of honor for the princess. One call of “MOOOOONNNNNYYY!!” and the Mommy immediately abandons all things to attend to the princess. The Daddy is no proof to her charming conniving manipulative ways. She cant have any candy? She flutters her eyes, touches her Dad’s arm and smiles the you-cant-say-no-to-me smile. Then Daddy turns to mush and says, “Your wish is my command.” The Big Brother is, bless his soul, a slave. A slave to the princess’ ways. He needs to put his own needs aside (Like playing on the computer) when Martha wants what he is using or else all hell will break loose and he doesnt want to make Mommy cry. He oftentimes would cry because Martha bit him because she “just” thought of biting him. The grandparents are no proof to the princess’ ways. When they hear her latest actions, they smile and guffaw like she did something we can all be proud of. 10.15.2008
