bison adventure

I tried to recreate the feeling of standing on the prairie, far away from anything else. Just an open expanse of sky, grass, water, and presumed alligators. These days, the trail no longer goes out into the prairie like this (following massive flooding from a hurricane) so I'm extra grateful I didn't turn back.

So worth it. I've been back to the main part of this state park several times in the past 10 years and I've yet to see another bison.

I had this kit on my wishlist FOREVER before finally getting it for Mother's Day. I highly recommend it. The word art has my heart. (I put the letterboard down before even my photos and I'm usually photos first)

Gorgeous use of the kit and template. I love the photos and the colors you chose. I love the pretty clusters and the grass at the bottom. And yay for getting the kit on your wishlist for Mother's day.

It's hard to tell in the web-sized but there's a butterfly on my hand in the photo. It was so magical.
