Our addiction to McDonald’s began with the Madagascar toys when Elliot was two years old. I was one of those moms who claimed she would never take her kids to McDonald’s. Ha ha ha!!! We were going to McDonalds like 2 or 3 or 4 times a week, trying to get all of the “move it, move it” animals that we didn’t already have. The obsession was so bad, that towards the end of the promotion I was calling local McDonald’s trying to find the animals we didn’t have. Just call me crazy. And ever since then, Elliot has found a true love for McDonald’s Happy Meals- 4 chicken nuggets with apples and lemoonade. Then when I became pregnant with Alex, I found a true love for their chemically stuffed french fries.
