Journaling: When I decided to do a reading goal for 2011, I expected to jumpstart my old love for a good story. There really is nothing like being immersed in another world. Actively reading again brought back that wonder to me. What I never expected, however, was that I would also fall back in love with another genre: Japanese manga. Just this year I’ve started AND finished THREE series, and am constantly looking for new ones. The rich stories, diverse characters, and gorgeous art of a manga volume carries its own charm and evokes another kind of wonder and enjoyment for me. I hope to read more series and if my bank account allows, collect them all! :)
