January 1, 2024: On Monday, we went to Mama’s for lunch. We had a roast with potatoes and carrots and lots of snack goodies, including wassail, baked goods, and candies. YUM! Mama always loved to feed her guests, even if she wasn’t feeling good. I know Anna and Aunt Glenda put a lot of this food together, but Mama directed them. It was good to be with family, and enjoy the day! This is the last New Year’s Day we had with Mama. I miss her so much!
