It's amazing to me what a simple change in perspective can do for a situation. Lately I've been so discouraged. I was forgetting to look up to my Heavenly Father for guidance, relinquishing control to Him. The Saturday afternoon in the woods that I took this photo really got me back on track.
Journaling: It had been a rough week, and now I found myself in the middle of the woods with a wiggly toddler strapped to my body. I was tired, discouraged and cold. Leaning against a mossy tree, I waited for the man with the compass to show us what direction to go. And in that waiting, I happened to glance up.
