For One Word Challenge #9 - STORY
Journaling reads: Nobody who meets my mom and dad today would ever guess the journey they’ve been on together. Looking back at them when they were first in love and just starting their lives together just amazes me. The next 40 years would include joy, children, laughter, tears, heartbreak, divorce, forgiveness, reconciliation, grandchildren, peace, struggle, love, and more love.
But, the life that they have together now has been worth all the work and struggle they went through to get to it. And, they are amazing examples of love and commitment.
So, when someone asks me to tell them about my mom and dad, I can honestly say that it’s a long story. But, at least it’s a long LOVE story.
