Journaling Challenge 03/11 I've been meaning to scrap this story for a long time!
[i]I often get very
strange looks from
people when they
ask me what my
dog’s name is and I tell
them ‘London’. I swear that
I had a very good
reason. The Scottish Terrier
that I grew up with was a
real snob. She wouldn’t sit
with you unless it was on her
own terms. If she came and sat by
your feet, and you reached down
to pet her, she would get up and
walk away. It was like she was
saying, “Um, excuse me? Did I say
you could touch me?” So when I
bought my own Scottie, I knew I
wanted a good, snobby name for
her. I love the rediculously snobby
character of London on The Suite
Life of Zack and Cody. So that’s what
I named her... Lady London. Oh my,
if I really knew how she was going to
turn out as frisky & playful as she has, I
would’ve definately picked a different
name. She loves to snuggle in my lap
and sit on by my feet when I’m at the
computer. She is thrilled when I reach
down and scratch her behind the ears.
She even loves snuggling up to Maggie when they’re
both napping. But, her name is London and that’s what it will stay.
