Journaling reads: 31 Aug 2019: While in Phoenix for the weekend, I tagged along with Rose & Faith for an evening at She Devil Tattoo. They were there to get matching rose & sunflower tats; I decided it was finally time to link up the ink on my wrist. When I'd gotten my semicolon/arrow tattoo with Veronica in 2016, I loved the design & symbology but wasn't pleased with the execution. The way the tail wrapped around to my wristbone... the fact it was curved rather than straight ... not to mention the fact the color didn't take well. I'd had three years to think about what I really wanted, and that night, the tattoo artist took my design and created magic on my skin! I chose a bracelet design that wrapped fully around my wrist. I'd drawn out a Triquetra, the Celtic triple knot, as the centerpiece. It can symbolize the eternal nature of the trinity (the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, in an unending circle) or it can have a more earthly meaning (the past/present/future, Maiden/Mother/Crone, Air/Earth/Sea, etc). My Triquetra sits atop a woven Celtic-style band and connects with the arrow so it looks like it was shot & caught within the weave. Rosaland added green and blue ink not only to the new artwork but to refresh the existing design. The end result is artwork that fills me with joy every time I spot it on my wrist.
Fabulous story and fantastic tattoo. Wonderful page. I love your title work and all of your clustering.
