That's quite a story, Lynn! But what a strong woman you are. You can be very proud of yourself! As far as I can tell from your layouts, you are a fantastic mom. You love and support your kids to the fullest. They are lucky to have you.

Lynn we should be friends IRL. I dropped out of high school because of the same girls... and went to junior college. Never got a GED, but have college degrees. I spent 6 yrs with a loser before finding my DH too. My mom was not a good role model, and I too feared failing at that but wanted desperately to have a family - guess I was more selfish. I was going to be different and show her. LOVE your journaling and page. I think we both turned out ok - and the fact that we navigated mother-daughter with our girls choosing to spend so much time with us is saying something!!! You got this! Keep hiking and your body will keep going longer than most!
