My daughter's 12th and 13th summers were low in camps she had any interest in - she had aged out and didn't want sports so I did a once-a-week Martha Stewart Club for her and her friends. Each week we did great crafts, the kids baked their lunch with my assistance, and we baked a fun desert recipe. Sometimes I took them hiking and once even took the whole group to the zoo! So much laughter and fun! This week we made lemon bars and years later I still remember how good they were! Then I dared the girls to lick lemons and the group that were with me that week laughingly did so and posed for photos.
