In 1961 my dad built me this playhouse in our backyard. My friends Marybeth, Debbie & I used to hang out in it all the time. This was no ordinary playhouse, because it was also a store, a restaurant, a school; it turned into anything our imaginations came up with. After all, isn’t that what playing is all about?
