Learning to ride a BIKE
When we found out that Ivan Emiliano was going to visit us this summer, Beto began making plans to teach him how to ride a bike. My friend Teri lent us a John Deere bike, and we bought a helmet and elbow and knee pads at a garage sale. The first day, Ivan Emiliano didn't want to get on the bike. First him and his uncle had to inspect the bike, and then with a little encouragement from his uncle Beto, he learned how to pedal and he was off.
