The title phrase is from a song by a Spanish singer, Alejandro Sanz, he sings it with a big time Brazilian singer, Ivete Sangalo, it says : Who is going to heal my broken heart, I think a better translation would be more like a Split heart, I should include a couple more places, but as the page is already super busy and even a bit over the top, I decided to go with the main Countries. I may take time to make this into a double pager, I'm making a point of only scrap pages that will end up in our books to print. OK, back to this.
I was born in Argentina, on the other side of the water falls, even though we lived there on and off, I am Brazilian, most of my independent young adult life was in Brazil. I have lived in the UK for over 30 years, but before ending up here I was a living in Spain which I absolutely loved, my years there were some of the happiest of my life pre motherhood. The actual journaling here in the page is more focusing on my relatively recent discovery that I spent 20 years telling people that I ended up in the last place I would have thought...but then started realising that great part of my teens and 20s I was in love with British Bands, British cinema and theatre plays and musicals, even the significance of some places in the UK many of my friends kept telling me they more than understand the fact of me ending up living here. Now, even though I made peace and at this point I feel even Pride of being an Adopted Londoner, I would choose Spain if I could choose a country in Europe, and, if possible, of course, would LOVE to be able to go back live in the south of the state of Bahia, Brazil .
I included Argentina because apart from the passport, I have family there and above all, some amazingly talented, loving friends who have been in my life for almost 50 years, plus Sarita LOVES the food which is, I agree, marvellous, and we even sometimes drink mate, (that little brown cups with the straw in the left bottom corner) and cook empanadas (also an element in Amanda and Wendy's ARW Argentina!!!!! ) Hope the main message is somehow getting there !
