A recent trip to Athens. This was the first day we arrived and we'd been told about a free jazz festival near us.
'After exploring the markets we arrived at the stage for the concerts. There were 3 slots - 9 pm, 10 and 11pm. We stayed for an hour and a half, particularly enjoying the music of Quadro Nueva - a tango band from Germany. Also playing were TriCoolOrre - a jazz band from Turkey. It was interesting to see such an international lineup - including such historical enemies as Greece and Turkey.'
