Is it too soon to think about what jam I want to gift for the holidays? Probably. But seeing this kit made me want to make a batch of strawberry-tequila agave jam with lime instead of lemon juice.

That sounds marvelous! My mom put up jars and jars of strawberry freezer jam. We've made it through our stash, and will have to make our own now. You'll have to share your recipe for this jam. I love how you used this freebie - such a cute page!

Mine isn't freezer jam; I have a GIANT blue canning pot that barely fits on my stove burner. I'm happy to share the recipe but I can't say whether it can be frozen or needs to be hot water bath (because I never have space in my freezer for jam.) I have a really great book (https://www.amazon.com/dp/0848746783/) full of recipes, including the one I'm about to tweak to be more margarita-like, and there's a chocolate cherry jam that we also get rave reviews on.

I was already considering sending Olivia some of this jam *if* I make it but a) now I *need* to so b) I can send you both jam.

I'm the only one who cans in my family (excluding my brother, who makes jam with me to gift to people as well) and I wish I had a relative who could have taught me.

And thank you! I adore this mini kit so much, even though I really wanted to pair it with 3 other kits ;)
