This is for the One Word Jan 20th challenge. (it is also for the ADSR 4 challenge 5 - we had to use 3 frames and no photos) I used some thoughts I wrote down on Tuesday to complete it. The empty frames help represent the possibilities in the future.
Journaling:
"I have a dream......"
How amazing that the day after we remember the man who
made this famous speech, Martin Luther King
Jr., We celebrate the swearing in of our 44th
president, Barack Obama, the first Black man
to hold this office. It does not matter what
political beliefs we hold or differences that are
had. As Americans we can all be proud of how
far we have come. The prejudices that have
been overcome and the stereotypes that we have
seen through. I know that we have many issues
to yet resolve in this area. That there are still
those who refuse to see the value of a person
simply because of the color of their skin. But that
we have elected this man to lead us gives me hope
that we can make a change in how we view and
treat all people. I believe the dream will come true!
