I miss you, Dad, I did on many occasions and I still do. I missed you on my wedding - I dreamed about you walking me down the aisle, how you would hug Gerd and tap his shoulder, giving him some advice. I missed you when I gave birth to your grandchildren. You would be such a wonderful and loving grandfather. Sometimes I imagine how it would be and can see you walking and playing with Sophia and Liam - in your endless patience and with lots of fantasy. You would so love them and you would be so proud!
Today I know and understand so much more than I did back then. And I feel sorry for what happened and that I did not tell you how much I loved you. - I did, I do and
