I've been mentally hibernating for a few weeks now, and I wanted to update family and friends. I am having my Spinal Cord Stimulator programmer/generator/battery replaced on Monday February 23rd - in just three days! The new stimulator is non-rechargeable, so I won't have to charge at all. the Medronic rep said the device will likely last me 10 years given my current programming.
