I am not my mental illness. With this month being Mental Health Awareness, I am grateful to be here today. There have been a few points in my life where I attempted suicide and just wanted to not be a burden to anyone. There have been many steps to help me to through the hard times and I am grateful for those in my life that understand and are there supporting me.
