i am me

I went in a little bit of a different direction with this boxing layout. I used the same kit for the entire thing. Since the requirement stated that the idea was to have what appeared as 4 separate boxes/quadrants/layouts on the page then rather than throwing 4 layouts on to the same canvas and calling it done, I wanted to tie the 4 together in such a way that it appeared both separate and unified at the same time.

I used different elements that I felt had a different feel to them for each of the 4 corners. One has fabric flowers, one has more realistic flowers, one has plastic flowers, etc. I also used different frames in each section.

I love the results. If this layout were about my kids instead of about me, I could totally see each of these 4 corners framed and hung in my living room. :)

Anyway... details...

I used Note to Self by Jenn Barrette and Kristin Cronin-Barrow for this layout.
My pop of color is in the lower left quadrant with the teal/blue color that does not appeal elsewhere. My punch is the circles in the upper right corner behind the wood grain paper.
Love this - the paper shapes are awesome, and I love how it flows. Great topic, too! I think you should make more for your kids!

I love the star shape and that you used one kit to do this! A great example how versatile one kit can be!

I love how you tied together all the squared together with the star!! Love this!!
