I usually like to scrap about upbeat things but I challenged myself to use a kit that is less than cheery. I journalled a bit about the Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism) diagnosis I was given in December 2018, and consequently spent 2019 medicated and in recovery from. It was a tough year, and it zapped every bit of physical and creative energy I had, while caring for three preschoolers/toddlers at home (and school/activities for my eldest). I am finally starting to feel more 'myself' again but it is truly a ticking timebomb as to whether I'll remain in remission or need treatment again in the future (Graves is an autoimmune condition, so life-long).
