After my oldest pass out too many times going from sitting to standing, we discovered she had a bad case of WPW and needed surgery soon. She was in the marching band in high school, the band threw a little fund raiser to make sure we had gas to get to Charlotte and a hotel room for us. We had no idea they were doing this until I went to the school to tell them she would be out of school for a few days and why, apparently she told her classmates a few days before about her diagnosis and surgery. Her classmates even got her a few cat stuffed animals.
