Journaling reads:
Who knew that seven months ago, when this brand new digi-scrapper decided
to apply to the brand new designer’s team, that they would end up forging
a great friendship? But that’s exactly what happened. It didn’t happen
over- night, it took many mornings and many afternoons to slowly de-
velop over Hello. When we finaly got a chance to meet at the DFW
Digishoptalk.com get together, I realized that we were more than
just Designer/Creative Team Member - we’d developed a great friendship.
We don’t talk on the phone unless one of us is lost on the way to meet
up for a crop or a playdate. She still makes fun of me for not liking girl
stuff and constantly talks about shoes - and even buys them for me (and who knew Crocs would be so comfortable?!) And now the relationship has switched roles. Kimberly has retired from designing, (she and her family are moving to Asia to teach)and I’ve taken up the designing mantle with her help. Next to my husband, she’s become the first person I talk to in the mornings and the last I say goodnight to. And while digi-scrapping is a great thing to have in common, our shared belief system binds us. Besides, I really need someone to constantly
correct my English grammar, syntax and spelling errors, and she needs someone to correct her speech! Thanks for the great ride, Kimberly!!!
