For journaling challenge March 11th, 2009
Daddy and I were thrilled when we found
out that we were going to be having a baby! We started right away thinking of boy and girl names. We didn’t want to do any family names, because it seemed as though if we did one, we’d have to do them all. So we thought of names that would fit both our personality and yours! We had 5 or 6 girl names that we loved but only one boy name that we could agree on. The girl names were adorable, Alivia or Ava, and the only boy name we could agree on was Hayden. We had lots of papers with names jotted down on them, and we would often have little polls between us to throw out a few of the ones we weren’t too fond of anymore. Then the day came to find out if we were going to have a baby girl or a boy. There was no question on which we wanted, we just wanted a healthy, happy baby!! When we found out that you were going to be wearing lots of pink and bows we were so excited!! Only one thing was left to decide. Mommy decided that she no longer liked Ava or Alivia. She liked Hayden. Hayden Louise. It was a perfect fit.
