My sweet pup Molly. We rescued her from the pound when she was 5 years old. She was 17 years old and in great health when she got attacked by an unleased dog in our neighborhood. The attack did something to her back, and she couldn't walk. It broke my heart to have to have her put down, but we really had no choice. The vet said they could do exploratory surgery--but we chose not to put her through that. She was such a good dog. We loved her so much.
