The boys have come on so much since going nursery. It was wonderful to go to their first sports day.

I was so excited to be coming to your first school sports day. You had been practicing at school for weeks. The egg and spoon race, the sack race and the hula hoops. I came with Mummy, Nanny, Auntie Kelly and Carlton to watch with pride.
You were really pleased we were there. So much so that Harley found it really difficult to sit on the floor with the other children like he was supposed to. Your teachers Kim and Raj took it in turns to have you each on their laps.
After a short delay though it was time to start. The first race was the egg and spoon race. You both lined up with the other children and Rachel blew the whistle. All the other children walked really carefully not to drop their egg. Archie however, got so excited by the whole thing he grabbed hold of his egg with the other hand and ran full pelt down the hall. It was hysterical. Everyone was laughing!!! I didn’t even know Archie could run that fast.
The next race was the running race. Determined not to be outdone by his brother this time Harley came out of the starting blocks like a whippet. Left everyone else standing. Mummy joined in with the parents race with Archie on her back and ran down the hall leading the other parents.
Two first place medals for my boys!! Well done both of you. But then you both know that it doesn’t matter what you do you will always be winners to me. Love you both Mum xoxoxo
