Journaling - "December 2nd, 2007 brought the first snow to Searsmont, Maine. This was just not any snow - this was a major storm closing schools on Monday and causing the state to come to a stand still. Flakes flew and fell for over twenty-four hours, plows couldn’t keep up and neither could we with keeping paths cleared. Every time I looked out the window, the snow was visibly deeper. My hope is for this to not be an indication of how the winter will be here. Everyone was home - all of us ready to smack the other. Here’s to the cabin fever to come."
