This was for Day 28. The reason this is my favorite picture of the month is that it perfectly captures the way this month has been here. It is the snowiest and coldest January I can remember since moving from Connecticut. Not in terms of quantity, but in terms of frequency. Many days below the average temperature, many days of snow, and this week a wonderful combo of snow, then ice, then snow, which meant we were housebound for three days. The doggies loved playing in it, but we didn't like being stuck in it. And as trying as the weather has been, I feel work has been just as trying. So it has been a true cold January....
